NOTICE: SEPTEMBER TOURISM MONTH ORCHID SHOW

Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality, in partnership with the Ba-Phalaborwa Local Tourism Association and the Ba-Phalaborwa Orchid Club, is hosting the annual orchid show to be held on the 3rd September 2010 at Bollanoto.

Please make a turn at Bollanoto Tourism & Information Centre next to Kruger Spar for a treat of your lifetime. The official opening is planned to take place at 10H00 and the show continues up to the 4th September 2010.

NOTICE: DECLARATION OF INTEREST BY COUNCILLORS

In terms of schedule 5 of the Municipal Structures Act, (Code of conduct for Councillors) a councillor must-

  • Disclose to the municipal council, or to any committee of which that councillor is a member, any direct or indirect personal or private business interest that that councillor, or any spouse, partner or business associate of that councillor may have in any matter before the council or the committee; and

  • Withdraw from the proceedings of the council or committee when that matter is considered by the council or committee, unless the council or committee decides that the councilor's direct or indirect interest in the matter is trivial or irrelevant. A councillor who, or whose spouse, partner, business associate or close family member, acquired or stands to acquire any direct benefit from a contract concluded with the municipality, must disclose full particulars of the benefit of which the councillor is aware at the first meeting of the municipal council at which it is possible for the councillor to make the disclosure;

    NOTICE 47/2010: ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AGREEMENTS AND PLANS FOR 2010/11

    In accordance with Section 53 (3) (1) (c) (ii) and (iii) of the Municipal Finances Management Act 56 of 2003 (MFMA), the Mayor has approved the Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP); and entered into Annual Performance Agreements with the Municipal Manager and the Directors in compliance with Section 57 (2) of the Municipal Systems Act 32 of 2000. Copies of the SDBIP and Annual Performance Agreements And Plans are available at all Municipal Libraries and on this website for the public to peruse.


     

    NOTICE 39/2010: APPROVED SERVICE DELIBERY AND BUDGET IMPLENTATION PLAN FOR 2010/11

    Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 75 (1) (e) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003; Mayor of Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality has approved the 2010/11 Service Delivery and Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP).     NOTICE 30/2010: ADOPTION OF IDP AND BUDGET FOR 2010/11

    Notice is hereby given in terms of Sections 16 (1), 21 and 25 (4) of the Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000 and Section 22(2) of the Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003 that Ba-Phalaborwa Municipality has adopted its 2010/11 Reviewed Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and 2010/11 Tabled Budget in its Council sitting held on the 27th May 2010, at Lulekani Community Hall.
